BERNARDO EURESTE

On July 21, 2003, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed a judgment of disbarment against Houston attorney Bernardo Eureste, 60, SBOT Card No. 06702275. Eureste pled guilty to three counts of mail fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §1341, an intentional crime as defined in the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, in Case No. 4:00CR00904-001 styled United States of America v. Bernardo Eureste, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. On or about June 28, 2002, Eureste was placed on probation for three years as to each count with the terms to run concurrently and ordered to pay restitution in the amount $112,529.74 and an assessment in the amount of $300.00.
