In re GENE R. ROSAS

On June 4, 2008, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals revoked the probation of San Antonio attorney Gene R. Rosas, State Bar of Texas Card No. 17244250, and suspended him from the practice of law for five years, beginning June 4, 2008. On or about November 7, 2007 a judgment of partially probated suspension was signed by the District 10B State Bar of Texas grievance committee. The order found that Rosas committed professional misconduct and suspended him from the practice of law for five years with the last 54 months of the suspension, beginning May 1, 2008, probated on certain terms and conditions. The Board of Disciplinary Appeals found that Rosas materially violated the terms and conditions of probation. Rosas has appealed the Judgment of Revocation to the Supreme Court of Texas.
