On May 11, 2011, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of Houston attorney Robert G. Cochran, 47, State Bar of Texas Card No. 00796010, from a default judgment of disbarment signed on September 17, 2010 by the Evidentiary Panel for the State Bar of Texas District 4F grievance committee in Case No. H0090929546. Cochran did not file a brief and the Board issued an Order to Show Cause to Cochran on March 22, 2011, giving him 30 days to respond and show cause as to why the appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. Cochran did not respond.
