On March 2, 2006, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of the complainant, Connie Gourdan, of an agreed judgment of fully probated suspension against Lubbock attorney David Norman Getz, 48, SBOT Card No. 00784123; issued by the Evidentiary Panel for the State Bar of Texas District 16A grievance committee in Case No. D3110322612. The Board found that the Appellant, Getz, did not file a brief. The Board issued an Order to Show Cause to Getz on January 10, 2006, giving him 30 days to respond and show cause as to why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. Getz did not respond.
