On March 22, 2016, the Supreme Court of Texas signed an order accepting Mr. Sarwal's resignaion as Attorney in lieu of discipline. On or about April 3, 2015, judgment was imposed in United States of America v. Anirudh Sarwal, Case No. 3:12-CR-193-M(01), sentencing Anirudh D. Sarwal of Austin, to 57 months imprisonment after he pled guilty to one count of Conspiracy to Commit Bank Fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1349 and § 1344 in United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. He was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $13,461,604.31.  BODA case 57003.
