ANTHONY WILLIAMS v. Comm'n for Lawyer Discipline

On February 6, 2003, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of Dallas attorney Anthony Williams, 40, SBOT Card No. 21511500, of a judgment of disbarment issued by the Evidentiary Panel for the State Bar of Texas District 16A grievance committee in Case Nos. F2020002766, F2030002783, and F2090002940 on December 26, 2001. The Board found that, despite two extensions, Williams did not file a reporter's record or a brief. The Board issued an Order to Show Cause to Williams on December 5, 2002, giving him 30 days to respond and show cause as to why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. Williams did not respond.
