ANTONIO CORTEZ

On July 14, 2004, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of El Paso attorney Antonio Cortez 55, SBOT Card No. 04844700, of a judgment of suspension issued by the Evidentiary Panel for the State Bar of Texas District 17A grievance committee in Case No. F3070212745. The Board found that Cortez did not file a reporter's record or a brief. The Board issued an Order to Show Cause to Cortez on May 5, 2004, giving him 30 days to respond and show cause as to why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. Cortez did not respond.
