Edward Garrison v. Comm'n for Lawyer Discipline

On April 2, 2012, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of San Antonio attorney Edward Wade Garrison, 47, State Bar of Texas Card No. 24010559, from a judgment of disbarment signed on May 19, 2011 by the Evidentiary Panel for the State Bar of Texas District 10-2 grievance committee in Case Nos S0100922638, S0100922738, S0120923061, and S0120922969. Garrison did not file a brief and the Board issued an Order to Show Cause to Garrison on November 10, 2011, giving him 30 days to respond and show cause as to why the appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. Garrison did not respond. Garrison appealed this matter to the Supreme Court of Texas; case no. 12-0720. The Court affirmed the Board's decision on March 8, 2013.
