In re Eric Paul Gifford

On or about February 20, 2012, the Supreme Court of Florida disbarred Mr. Gifford in The Florida Bar, Complainant, v. Eric P. Gifford, Respondent, Case No. SC11-1182. Mr. Gifford admitted that he violated the following rules of the Florida Bar: 3-4.3 (commission of an unlawful act) 4-1.15 (failed to comply with trust account rules) 4-8.4(b) (committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on his honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer) 4-8.4(c) (engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation) 5-1.1 (failed to comply with trust accounting requirements) 5-1.1(a)(1) (failed to hold client funds in trust) 501.1(b) (failed to hold in trust and apply only to that purpose, money entrusted to him for a specific purpose.) On October 24, 2012 the Board signed a judgment of disbarment against Mr. Gifford.
