In re Mario M. Garza

On or about December 12, 2007, Respondent pled guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count of false statement on an income tax return in United States of America v. Mario M. Garza, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division, in Case No. 4:07CR00167-001. Mr. Garza was sentenced to a total of 36 months imprisonment and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $809,440.20. The conviction is final. Mr. Garza resigned in lieu of discipline and the Supreme Court of Texas accepted his resignation on December 21, 2012 by Misc. Docket no. 12-9174.
