In re Meredith L. Lawrence

Mr. Lawrence was convicted on or about November 15, 2012 on three counts of filing a false tax return and sentenced to serve 27 months on each count (concurrently) in United States of America v. Meredith L. Lawrence, Cause No. 2:11-CR-52-DCR-1, United States District Court for the East District of Kentucky. Mr. Lawrence appealed his conviction and on March 3, 2014, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit affirmed the conviction. On April 29, 2014, the court issued its mandate and the Chief Disciplinary Counsel for the State Bar of Texas moves for a judgment of disbarment. The Supreme Court of Texas accepted Mr. Lawrence's resignation in lieu of discipline on January 27, 2015 by misc docket 15-9001.
