In re RONALD G. MOCK

On December 8, 2004 the Board of Disciplinary Appeals revoked the probation of Houston attorney Ronald G. Mock, SBOT Card No. 14242700, and suspended him from the practice of law for two years and 11 months, beginning December 8, 2004. On or about February 10, 2004, Mock consented to an agreed judgment of a partially probated suspension signed and entered by the District 04F State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee. The agreed order of probation found that Mock committed professional misconduct and was suspended from the practice of law for three years, of which the first month was to be active, beginning March 1, 2004, and ending March 31, 2004, and the final 35 months were to be probated beginning April 1, 2004 and ending February 28, 2007. The Board found that Mock failed to timely make restitution to a former client, failed to timely pay attorney's fees to the State Bar of Texas, failed to timely pay costs and expenses to the State Bar of Texas, failed to timely file an affidavit with the State Bar of Texas stating that all of his clients have been notified in writing of his suspension and that all unearned fees and files were returned, and failed to timely file an affidavit with the State Bar of Texas stating that all courts in which Mock had matters pending were notified in writing of his suspension, in violation of the terms and conditions of the agreed judgment.
