In re Stephen J. Jabbour

On June 9, 2011, Stephen J. Jabbour, 58, of Victoria, Texas, State Bar of Texas Card No. 10444700, pled guilty to one count of Receipt of Child Pornography in violation of 18 USC § 2252(a)(2) and 2252(b)(1) and to one count of Possession of Child Pornography in violation of 18 USC § 2252A9a)(5)(B), 2252A(b)(2), and 2256(8)(A) in Case No. 6:10CR00090-S-001 styled United States of America v. Stephen Jabbour in the United States Court for the Southern District of Texas, Victoria Division and was sentenced to 170 months imprisonment. The judgment is final.

On January 24, 2012, the Supreme Court of Texas accepted Jabbour’s Motion for Acceptance of Resignation as Attorney and Counselor at Law by Misc. Docket Order No. 12-9007. The Petition for Compulsory Discipline filed on November 15, 2011 by the Chief Disciplinary Counsel of the State Bar of Texas is dismissed.
