DAVID N. GETZ v. Comm'n for Lawyer DIscipline

On September 2, 2008, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeals of Lubbock attorney David N. Getz, 50, State Bar of Texas Card No. 00784123, of a judgment of a partially probated suspension signed by the Evidentiary Panel for the State Bar of Texas District 16A-4 grievance committee in Case No. S0120617846 on December 5, 2007. The Board found that Getz did not file a reporter’s record or a brief. The Board issued an Order to Show Cause to Getz on April 21, 2008, giving him 30 days to respond and show cause as to why the appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. Getz did not respond.
