On January 27, 2004, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals affirmed a default judgment of disbarment against La Grange attorney Larry M. Wessels, 56, SBOT Card No.00789721, signed by the evidentiary panel of the State Bar of Texas District 5A1 Grievance Committee on July 14, 2003, in Cause No. F0070010443. Mr. Wessels appealed this decision to the Supreme Court of Texas, cause number 04-0199. The decision of the Board of Disciplinary Appeals was affirmed on June 11, 2004.
