Pursuant to Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure (“TRDP”) Part IX, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel of the State Bar of Texas filed a Petition for Reciprocal Discipline against Respondent Alex James Washington Jr. on October 1, 2020. The Petition states that on or about July 2, 2020, the Supreme Court of Louisiana accepting a Petition for Consent Discipline, ordering suspension from the practice of law for a period of one year and one day, in Case No. 2020-B-0577, In re: Alex Washington Jr. Attorney Disciplinary Proceeding.  An Agreed Judgment of Probated Suspension was signed by the Board on October 2, 2020.  BODA Cause No. 64776.
