In the Matter of David John Pettinato

On January 11, 2023, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals entered an Agreed Judgment of Suspension against Tampa, FL attorney David John Pettinato, State Bar of Texas Card No. 24080035.  On November 17, 2022, an Order was entered by the Supreme Court of Florida in a matter styled, The Florida Bar, Complainant, v. David John Pettinato, Respondent, Supreme Court Case No. SC22-l5l5, Lower Tribunal No(s): 2018-10,276 (13D); 2019-10,196 (13D) suspending Pettinato from the practice of law in Florida for ten days.  Pettinato agreed he violated Rules regulating The Florida Bar 4-4.l(b) (Truthfulness in Statements to Others), 4-3.3(a)(l) (Candor Toward the Tribunal), 4-3.4(c) (Fairness to Opposing Party and Counsel), and 4-8.4(d) (Misconduct).  He is suspended from the practice of law in Texas for ten days, beginning February 10, 2023 and extending through February 19, 2023.  BODA Case No. 67468
