Although properly cited and noticed, Slay did not answer or appear. Ms. Slay was publicly reprimanded by the Supreme Court of the State of Louisiana in a matter styled, In re: Heather Ree Slay, Case No. 2016-B-0437 for practicing law in Louisiana without a license.
