On January 22, 2004, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals issued its Opinion and Order denying the Motion to Declare the September 2, 1999 Board of Disciplinary Appeals Judgment Void of Beaumont attorney Alto V. Watson III, SBOT Card No. 20932800. Watson alleged that a former BODA member was disqualified from hearing his probation revocation. The Board found that the former member was not disqualified and recusal cannot support a collateral attack on the judgment.
