In re Marco A. Delgado

On April 22, 2019, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed a judgment of disbarment against El Paso attorney Marco A. Delgado, 47, State Bar of Texas Card No. 00796001. On or about January 24, 2014 Mr. Delgado was convicted of conspiracy to commit money laundering, an Intentional Crime as defined in the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, and sentenced to incarceration for 240 months in United States of America v. Marco Antonio Delgado,  Case No. EP-12-CR-2106-DB, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, El Paso Division. Mr. Delgado appealed his criminal conviction. During the pendency of his appeal, on July 30, 2014, the Board signed an interlocutory order of suspension. The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit affirmed his conviction and issued its mandate on January 31, 2019. Mr. Delgado has appealed the Judgment of disbarment to the Supreme Court of Texas no. 19-0406. The Supreme Court of Texas dismissed Mr. Delgado's appeal for want of prosecution.
