On June 25, 2008, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals revoked the probation of Nederland attorney Michael Papania, State Bar of Texas Card No. 00795769, and suspended him from the practice of law for one year, beginning June 25, 2008. On or about August 7, 2007 a judgment of partially probated suspension was signed by the District 3A01 State Bar of Texas grievance committee. The order found that Papania committed professional misconduct and suspended him from the practice of law for one year with the last nine months of the suspension, beginning January 1, 2008, probated on certain terms and conditions. The Board of Disciplinary Appeals found that Papania materially violated the terms and conditions of probation.
