Roy Lee Reeves v. Commission for Lawyer Discipline

On November 7, 2022, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals issued a Dismissal Order, dismissing for want of prosecution the appeal filed by Amarillo attorney ROY LEE REEVES [#24027770]. On November 19, 2021, a Judgment of Partially Probated Suspension was issued by an evidentiary panel of the District 1 Grievance Committee of the State Bar of Texas, finding that Reeves violated Texas Disciplinary Rule of Professional Conduct 8.04(a)(8) (failure to respond to grievance).  Reeves received a three-year partially probated suspension, effective January 1, 2022, with the first six months actively suspended and the remainder probated.
