On April 4, 2008, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed a Judgment Affirming a Judgment of Public Reprimand in the appeal of Lufkin attorney William J. Sames III, 80,SBOT Card No. 17555000. The Public Reprimand was issued by the Evidentiary Panel for the State Bar of Texas District 11A-1 grievance committee in Case No. S0050616912 on June 13, 2007. Mr. Sames has appealed the decision of the Board of Disciplinary Appeals to the Supreme Court of Texas case no. 08-0306. The decision of the Board was affirmed.
