On December 9, 2025, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals entered an Agreed Interlocutory Order of Suspension against Dallas attorney Charlie Carr [#24118809]. On February 11, 2025, a Judgment of Conviction by Jury was entered in Cause No. 296-85717-2023, styled The State of Texas v. Charlie Andrea Carr, in the 296th District Court, Collin County, Texas, wherein Carr was found guilty of Sexual Assault, in violation of Texas Penal Code § 22.011 (a)(1), a second-degree felony. This offense is an Intentional and Serious Crime as defined in the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure. Carr was sentenced to ten years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
