On June 26, 2025, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals entered an Agreed Judgment of Probated Suspension in the reciprocal discipline case against Houston attorney Robert Chamless Lane [#24046263]. On May 7, 2025, an Amended Order for Sanctions was entered by the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas, Laredo Division, in a matter styled In re: Robert Lane, Case No. 4:24-MC-01424. Lane was found to have intentionally made a false statement of material fact and law to the Bankruptcy Court and was suspended from the practice of law in the Southern District of Texas for 60 days with the suspension fully probated. He is suspended from the practice of law in Texas for sixty days with the suspension fully probated, beginning June 26, 2025, and extending through August 25, 2025. BODA Case No. 71212.
