The Supreme Court of Texas appointed Patrick O’Fiel of Kerrville to the Board of Disciplinary Appeals on September 4, 2026.  The Court also reappointed Courtney Schmitz of McKinney and Hon. Melissa Goodwin of Austin to the Board of Disciplinary Appeals.  Their terms are effective immediately.

Outgoing member Scott A. Fredricks devoted years of hard work to the attorney grievance system both as a member of BODA and the Professional Ethics Committee.  We sincerely thank Scott for his dedication to the profession.
