On September 19, 2006, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of complainant Hector Manuel Santos of the default judgment of disbarment of Houston attorney Garry L. Washington, SBOT Card No. 00785188, issued by the Evidentiary Panel for the State Bar of Texas District 4B3 grievance committee in Case Nos. H0110112114 and H0040212968. The Board found that Santos did not file a reporter's record or a brief. The Board issued an Order to Show Cause to Santos on July 13, 2006, giving him 30 days to respond and show cause as to why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. Santos did not respond.
