On October 14, 2016 the Supreme Court of Colorado signed an Order of Approving Conditional Admission of Misconduct and Imposing Sanctions in a matter styled Complainant: The People of Colorado, Respondent: Arron Burt Nesbitt, #40610, Case Number 17PDJ068 for billing for work not performed in violation of Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct 1.5(a) and 8.4(c) In accordance with Part IX of the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, Nesbitt is suspended for the practice of law in Texas for nine months, beginning October 2, 2018 and ending July 1, 2019 followed by two-year probated suspension from July 2, 2019 until July 1, 2021.
