On July 31, 2025, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals entered a Judgment of Disbarment in the compulsory discipline case against Austin attorney Joseph Salvatore Cocchiaro [#24069525]. On April 17, 2024, a Judgment of Conviction by Jury was filed in Cause Number 22-1079-K277, styled The State of Texas v.
