On July 6, 2011, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed an order of disbarment against Midlothian attorney Todd R. Phillippi, 50, State Bar of Texas Card No. 00790178. On or about May 10, 2011, Phillippi pled guilty to two counts of Tampering with a Governmental Record, an Intentional Crime as defined in the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, in cause number 35175CR, styled, The State of Texas v. Todd Rowland Phillippi, in the 40th Judicial District Court of Ellis County, Texas. Phillippi was sentenced to 180 days imprisonment in State Jail and ordered to pay costs in the amount of $270. Phillippi did not answer or appear.
