On July 23, 2008, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed an agreed judgment of probated suspension against Colorado Springs, Colorado attorney, David M. Koppa, 49, Texas Bar Card No. 11679950. On May 15, 2008, the Supreme Court of The State of Colorado entered an Order Approving Conditional Admission of Misconduct and Imposing Sanctions Pursuant to C.R.C.P 251.22 against Koppa. He was suspended from the practice of law in Colorado for nine months probated for one year. In accordance with Part IX of the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, Koppa was suspended from the practice of law in Texas for nine months beginning July 23, 2008 and ending April 22, 2009, probated for one year.
